Announcing auditions for our Summer 2018 production, Shrek the Musical!
Auditions will be held Monday, May 21st and Tuesday, May 22nd from 6:00-10:00pm at Pine City High School in the 7th grade commons. Callbacks will be held Wednesday, May 23rd from 6:00-10:00pm. Rehearsals will begin Tuesday, May 29.
Tech week is July 15-18, with performances being held July 19-22.
All auditions will be held as an open call, first come, first serve. Headshots and resumes preferred, but not required. Individuals should come ready to state their conflicts. We will not accept any conflicts during tech rehearsals or performances. Auditions are open to all individuals 4th grade and up. More specific audition information will be posted soon. There will be a singing portion and dancing portion to your audition. We will post links with the appropriate content for those parts of your auditions soon. Please check back for those links.
We are committed to diversity and encourage performers of all ethnicities, gender identities, and ages (4th grade & up), as well as performers with disabilities, to audition.
Please note that we are completing gender and color-conscious casting, which means your gender, race, or ethnicity does not disqualify you from playing a role traditionally played by a gender, race, or ethnicity that is not your own. For example, a female could play the role of Donkey or a male could play the role of Dragon. Please note that the age ranges listed beside each character are not set in stone, so if you do not fit that age range but believe you would be a perfect fit for that character, still try.
