The piles of snow outside the window may be deceiving, but spring is on the way and the Heritage Players are ramping up for a summer show that can be enjoyed by the entire family! This summer we will produce Hello, Dolly! The 1964 musical with lyrics and music by Jerry Herman and a book by Michael Stewart. The story of Dolly Levi, a widow, a matchmaker, and also a professional meddler – but everything changes when she decides that the next match she needs to make is to find someone for herself. Set in New York City at the turn of the century, Hello Dolly! is boisterous and charming from start to finish.
Auditions for the show will be held on Sunday, May 5th and Tuesday, May 7th at the Pine City High School Auditorium. Our Sunday auditions will run from 4:00 – 6:00 PM and the Tuesday auditions will run from 6:00 – 8:00 PM. Those interested in auditioning will need to sign-up for their preferred audition date as there are just 25 slots available for each night. Auditions will be open for anyone ages 13 and above. Through that form their are additional links available to view character descriptions and a draft rehearsal schedule, both are great resources for anyone looking for more information on the show and the expectations for rehearsals.
Hello Dolly! will perform this summer at the Pine City High School Auditorium for 4 performance dates running from July 18 – 21, 2024. Tickets for the production will go on sale in July with reserved seating available from the Box Office page on the Heritage Players website.
